I adapted "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" from Roald Dahl's classic children's tale to be performed as a Middle School play for Mashrek International School in April 2013.

Our production featured two, large, rotating stages, which were spun by the students in order to change and create the setting for the four different rooms of Willy Wonka's factory. 

 

Local chocolate companies sponsored the performances, meaning we could distribute real chocolate and candy to audiences as part of the show. In addition, we gave a complementary, charity performance for students in two underprivileged schools: a UNRWA school and a public Jordanian school.
